As Chief Technology Officer for Teligence, Cameron is responsible for the companys Technology strategy and the exploration, development and delivery of new and innovative products and services that provide differentiators in the social networking arena. In his capacity, he leads a team of professionals specializing in software development, program management, technical operations, product management and technical architecture. Throughout his career Cameron has been commended for his exceptional customer service orientation and relationship building skills, creating a climate of collaboration and innovation. In 1997, he was granted a personal leadership award recognizing 50 outstanding leaders across the BC Telecom organization of 18,000 people. He has been featured in The Globe and Mail and The Report on Business magazine for accomplishments relating to software development and creative consulting. Camerons 20 years of experience in the IT industry encompasses various leadership and general management roles at Playground Intrawest, 360Networks/Bell Canada and BC Tel Mobility. His breadth of expertise includes global IT team formation, M&A, integration and business development. Vancouver born and raised, Cameron is a graduate of Douglas College. With a passion for lifelong hands-on learning, he has earned numerous industry related certificates while working his way up through the corporate ranks to provide for his wife and five children with whom he resides on their hobby farm in South Surrey. Cameron is also an avid fly fisherman and a Canadian Death Racer. |
