Vancouver, BC—June 9, 2006—Teligence, a Vancouver company and North America's leader in voice-enabled social networking, was named Company of the Year at the British Columbia Technology Industy Associations (BCTIA) awards gala last night.

After accepting the prestigious award, John Madigan, Director of Teligence and the company's co-founder, made note of the phenomenal statistics and factors that contribute to Teligences success.

"Over the past three years, we have increased our market share by 54%, outmaneuvering our competitors," Madigan said. "Rather than relying on third party software providers, we manage and control our own software. Teligence was among nine winners honoured at the BCTIAs annual awards gala, which celebrated 23 finalists in nine categories.

The BCTIA awards are judged by a panel of experts and leaders in the technology sector. The Company of the Year award acknowledges a company's supremacy in the technology industry and superior business development.
